So this was a very first for me… an engagement session the day before the couples wedding. It actually worked out really well. Jenna said this was the most relaxed ‘alone time’ they’d had together in awhile with all the wedding planning. I was glad. Engagement sessions with me are very relaxed and I encourage couples to ignore me and enjoy each other. It just makes a better shot than, “look at the camera, smile.”
If you have been following my blog for awhile you know where this was shot. Cypress Gardens near Charleston, SC. It’s a black swamp full of alligators but was perfect for our engagement session.
I met Jenna through my friend Eden. They both went to Converse College together as music majors. Jenna continued her career in music and is active in community plays. I know on once occasion I called her in between scenes to talk wedding details! 🙂
This was my first time meeting Eric. I had seen him on Facebook many times so it was a little funny seeing him after already being acquainted online. He was indeed as thoughtful and caring as he was described to me. Little kisses he gave and how he held his soon-to-be…. adorable.
