It seems like just last month Kathryn & Rob were talking about their wedding plans with me… in actuality it was many months ago… but their day is here already! What an amazing couple! Both are genuinely kind-hearted & just fun to be around! Kathryn had the day planned out so well we just relaxed and really enjoyed the moments… did I mention the weather was PERFECT and as you can see we were right on the river in downtown Columbus. What more could you want?
I had a dream about these shoes. I have one single friend left (you know who you are) and I was talking to her about the idea of flowered shoes for her bridesmaids. I was excited to see Kathryn had the same idea and WOW… LOVE ‘EM!!!
The girls had the Presidential Suite downtown and had already started the party before I arrived!

Kathryn was at first totally against a first look session. I will admit, it’s a tough decision to change how you dreamed your wedding would play out. As little girls we envision seeing our soon-to-be husband for the first time as we walk down the isle. This is a tradition that was started with arranged marriages. It was played out this way so the bride would not run away. Since then we have come along way… we choose to marry our best friends! A first look session is an intimate moment that is shared between each other on your wedding day… it’s really the only time you have ALONE your whole day to take in the special moments that are for just you two! Having this time before the wedding allows you not only to be beautiful longer in THE DRESS but also more time to connect with each other and cherish your wedding day together before friends and family are added into the celebration. The moment of seeing each other for the first time walking down the isle is extended to your own ten minutes to hold each other, touch, share what you are feeling right at that moment.
